I really had to show a lot. A trip by a large pond gives you these on the same day. Happy Mothers' Day to you out there to you with families.
These were attentive parents.
I'm sure Michele can appreciate the way our Canadian Geese multiply.
They swim really young.
All line up and ready to go.
Here we go 10 feet down the shore line there's a Muskrat. Stacey should appreciate this little guy. He came ashore as the Geese went in.
I don't know what he was eating maybe grass.
Then off the Muskrat goes in the opposite direction from the Geese. Check out the long tail on the Muskrat.
A Seagull took flight just as this all happened. Click to see it a little better.
What an AWESOME post! You got some fantastic critter photos. I really fell in love with the family of geese - how appropriate for Mother's Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteWere all of these taken at Hodgson? I'm supposed to be making a trip back home at the end of June (if I can afford the gasoline for the trip). I CAN'T WAIT to walk the trails of Mogadore Reservoir with Dad and the wolf.
Nice photos for the day of the Mom! Thanks.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny you posted these, I was out at the lake today and a huge flock of these little fuzzy guys came walking past me without a care in the world! It was fantastic! BUT, I did not have my camera with me... I left it back in the Jeep as we were wading into the water for fishing but seeing your photos made me happy that I can still hold on to the memory in some way!!!
