Sky Watch Friday 10/3/08

Sky Watch Friday is on it's own. Please check out the new sight and link in if you wish to participate. There were 381 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or above.

We had some great cloudy skies early in the week and then the rains started. If you click on this one I think the small dark cloud looks like a small fish going toward King Neptune. Can you his the face? I had to have one reflective photo of the pond and this same cloud. The Canadian Geese are just a bonus. We should continue to keep Michele from The Rocky Mountain Retreat in our prayers as she tries to recover from her recent fall and problems. I for one miss her beautiful views of Canadian Rockies.
this last one is from my back yard looking over my house. There were some neat clouds on that day.
Happy Sky Watch Friday and keep those great skies posting to your site.

  31. Clouds add so much interest to blue skies but are also a sure indicator to changing weather.

Thanks for sharing your views of the horizon. Enjoy your music play list, sometimes when i am supposed to be working very hard in the office i put the ear plugs in and let in run the background for a bit of a break from office humm.

  37. Super photographs and a lovely SkyWatch contribution. We have a very similar photo posted this week. The big puffy cloud with your King Neptune and the fish, but I don't think mine has such distinguished company :)

It is very sweet of you to think of Michele. She is in my thoughts every day and I check at her sight to see if there are any updates.

  38. Beautiful cloud and I love that reflection shot in particular. We're starting to see some geese migrating to the south but so far no photos of them for me. :(

    ReplyDelete
  39. I really like the first shot with the spectacular big cloud. The contrast of the white cloud against the deep blue sky does it for me!

You ask if Fred is protected; only as long as he remains in the no-hunt zone during the upcomming Elk season. The photo was taken only a few hundred yards from the hunt zone. Hopefully during the hunting season he will not stray so near to danger.

  58. Beautiful cloud. I like reflection shot, too. I had to laugh at the Canadian geese being a bonus. Here we consider them anything BUT a bonus (more like pests). I have to admit, though, that they are pretty floating around on the pond.

    ReplyDelete
  59. All of them are gorgeous photos! Have a very nice week-end! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  60. We are having blue skies today too. Question: how did you get your music attached to your blog? Is that hard to do? I would like to try it I think. Might be a good weekend for fishing or going to a football game.

  69. I haven't joined SWF, but at this time of year it's tempting! It's a lot of fun to use your imagination with the clouds. The pictures you can imagine are so fleeting. Thanks for capturing some for us.
