The new
Sky Watch Friday is now a half year old. My how time passes so quickly. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were 296 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.
This week I'm going to show you the evening sky from last weeks red sunrise. This was the most unusual wispy clouds showing. They seemed to trail down from the thick cloud cover.

I drove a little way and thought the reflecting pond may put on a neat show.

I did a second shot with just the pond as the view.

I was enjoying these clouds so much that I stopped again down the road at the golf course and took some more shots. This one at the pine tree was my favorite. The wispy clouds surrounded the pine tree.

Please have fun and visit some neat skies today from around the world.
Intersting pictures, FG!

It looks so grey over Ohio. But there's a certain beauty...especially of we call the grey "silver." They really are neat!
ReplyDeleteSuch magnificent skies,
ReplyDeletelove the whispy clouds!
We have had a long series of nothing but grey sky, mostly due to banks of fog which envelope the city.

ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed your photos. I had to take a closer look at the pond reflection. It seem the sky keep getting better and better as time goes on. I have never seen any thing like the low clouds. I have seen some that reminded me a the start of a funnel cloud. But yours are fluffy like cotton candy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

Oh how it pains me to see a boat on the hard for the winter!
ReplyDeleteWe went sailing on New Years day here in the ONC! It was a bit nippy, but no ice or snow.
At least your boat is still performing its most vital function... keeping water on the outside!
