Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.I wanted to show a couple more birds from my Texas trip. This was a pair of Cow Birds that were on a fence.

Here is a close-up of one. This is a cool bird that I don't see in NE Ohio.

This was a Boat Tailed Grackle near the same fence giving someone an earful.

This was the same bird in my front yard near the lamp post.

This is the first photo of one of the American Robins that winter over in Ohio checking for some food in the grass.

The snow is gone and we are having a small snowfall today.
Visit some great critters photos from the link above.
I look forward to seeing the robins return. Take good care of them while they're in Ohio. ;-)

Beautiful pictures, Tom. I saw Grackles when I was at Tybee Island in October.
ReplyDeleteOur Robins are starting to come back --so I am hoping that spring is just around the corner...
Have a great Sunday.

I've seen Cowbirds out here... I think. You got some great shots.
ReplyDeletePretty neat photos. Those grackles are awful in Austin and near businesses. We stopped in San Marcos and there were hundreds in just one tree. Spooky!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you captured the eye in the first one Tom.
ReplyDeleteGrackle!! A great sounding name. I Like the robins you get over there too!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful series. I like the templates you used to make these photos.
ReplyDeleteLove how you masked/framed the photos. Gives them a vintage feel :)
