My Red Fox came back and put on quite the show in my back yard. Our neighbor had been out of town so his dog had not been harassing the fox. He was willing to come right up beside my garden area.
He was at alert and even though he couldn't see me he was suspicious and cautious.
He stayed a minute and then high tailed it into the woods.
He marked his trail as a warning to other would be visitors.
He then started to come back into the yard but thought better of it. This is the last shot as he went behind the shed not to be seen again. Goodbye Mr. Red Fox, gone but not forgotten. Thanks for the show.

Love the fox shots! Hard to believe he came out so close to people-guess he has become use to the area. His red coat really shows up nicely!

ReplyDeleteOh what a nice job you did capturing him with your camera! He is very striking and getting these shots must have been tricky...they are so easily spooked. I have tried a few times to photograph one who lives nearby but I have not been successful.
