Sky Watch Friday #37

Sky Watch Friday is doing really well. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were over 300 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.

We have a rainy/chilly day today. The skies are all gray but I try to capture the sky when the weather is better. I started my cardiac rehabilitation today and spent some time indoors doing exercises. I was tired but got through it without much problem.

Looking to the sky to see what may come overhead. I took a trip into the landing pattern at the Kent State Airport in Stow, Ohio. A cold clear blue sky greeted me with a training flight of a Piper Cub coming in for a landing directly overhead.
This was a morning sunrise last week with the clouds covering the sun.
One more shot from my trip to Brandywine Falls. This time I used the reeds to capture the sky.
Go to the site above to see some other great skies.

  50. Tom, where I grew up, I could watch the flight path for the Kent State Airport out my bedroom window. Everything was O.K. until the F-15's started to come for the Air Show. They are LOUD! It was as if the whole house was going to explode- everything shook. Crazy.

  52. Thre such images and all are so lovely in their own way. really hard to choose a favourite. The small plane is really nice and it would be fun to be in it. I have once or twice had the pleasure of being in a small plane like that.
The sky in the seconds shot reminds me of cherning water out in the ocean and the third shot is just like summer. I have to choose them all.
