My world # 41

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar, Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

An early morning trip to Lake Hodgson, we have had a cold front conditions but I thought I would wet my line. The lake was calm with a morning mist sitting over it.
The sun rose as I trolled across the lake and I liked this double reflection on the water.
I did manage a nice Large-mouth Bass that gave me a few jumps.
This neat White Crappie also hit my Hot-N-Tot.
It was a fun day and it is always fun to bring some fish to the boat. I also caught a few perch and a bluegill while dragging a worm.

  6. My daughter caught 5 wide-mouth bass yesterday in our pond! They were all in the 2 - 5 lb. range and I swear I could have stuck my finger in the pond and caught one. They were begging to be caught!
Needless to say, last night's dinner was exceptionally wonderful!

  16. I am a very good cook when it comes to fish:bake, grill, soup, omelette. I don't venture much with salad, but I can try. There is a technique.

Your pictures take me back in time when life was all about fishing, not your advance kind of fishing but by simple hook and line.

    Very nostalgic shots!

    Good morning from Down Under.

  24. Beautiful and relaxing and and action catch too. The second one just drew me in and spotting the rod in the corner put the whole scene in context of being out on such a glorious scene.

  31. What a pretty lake. The morning mist on water is a definite bonus to getting up and out early!

And I think I said that in a whisper enough so as not to scare the fish.

  36. And what a beautiful world it is! Nothing beats a morning on the water and a few fish makes it even better!

With the onset of summer my fishing has slowed down some as the fish settle into their summer patterns. It looks like your's is still holding up well!

What do you catch crappie with? My Father-in-law likes those.
Oh, and do you go fishing by yourself? Or do you have a buddy that tags along?
