This was a great blue cloudy sky over an old oil well that only has the tank and the capped well head.
You can see a lot of great skies above.

Beautiful photo. Is that a water tower or a silo in the background. Looks like a painting.
ReplyDeleteI love the filmy clouds as they just filter the light, but keep enough around for great pictures.
ReplyDeleteHi Tom, I love your header and am sorry that you didn't win this week. Who votes--or do the four of you do the voting??
ReplyDeleteLike your clouds and sky in today's picture. We've had clouds and dreariness for the past several days it seems. Today it is cold--and is going to get colder this weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
I like this one alot, love that blue sky.

Great shot and composition. I love the view so much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sky. I like the contrast with the green grass and the tank is interesting alone like that.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one. Has kind of a lonely feel.
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect angle- a wonderful photo! What nice trunks on those trees!
ReplyDeleteNice Sky Shots!
ReplyDeleteThe central cloud is shaped like a Christmas Tree with a star on top. However you did that Tom, it sure is a great capture. The tank looks lonely out there.
ReplyDeleteGreat clouds in this sky!
