The header theme this week by Tom from England and is "no subject but a Black and White photo presentation". Mac,Tom, Darla and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. This was new to me so the choices were harder, I really like color in my photos but I give it a try. Go to the other sites to see their interpretation of this weeks theme.
The Trumpeter Swan in the water was my first thought, the swan is black and white already.
Then I thought of a Morning Dove nesting in the white snow.
How about my white deer decoration from my front yard at Christmas time in the snow.
I finally decided on the local deer in the snow with the snow covering its face. This was right outside my bedroom window.

Great show Tom, like the posts and your header.
ReplyDeleteGood photos here, what a precious header!
ReplyDeleteI like deer decorations. How do you lure them to your yard? I've tried the usual... you know, all types of vegetable decorations, artificial clover, fake apples, etc. Still, I just can't find the right decorations to lure them into my yard!
ReplyDeleteNice B&W's I like that header.
Sorry I am late getting aroundthis week.... Jane as just come in and woke me up... love the dear... I will now visit the other two before I send my vote.
ReplyDeleteCraver: I always use my pumpkins from Halloween to feed the deer. Have you ever tried the plastic ones in the yard?
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! Well I would if I could figure out how to get it off of my head! The handle keeps catching my chin!
ReplyDeleteCraver: You can just snip it with scissor, the deer doesn't need the handle.
ReplyDeleteLove the shots Tom!
ReplyDeleteFor B&W I think your swan picture is right on! It's just my preference but I think the deer shot would look super in a sepia tone.
I'll go check out the others now. :)
Nice B&W shots Tom.... I saw Mac's --and you have some great competition this week. Good Luck!
