Here is a view of the sky from this Fall, it was nice to see the blue.
If you look to the cloud at the left side the plane is still visible.
This is the sky color now, sort of a blue gray.
You can see a lot of neat skies above.

Excellent photos, thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
Love the middle shot Tom! Seeing the sky through bare branches is one of my favorite shots.
ReplyDeleteWe finally broke freezing here for the second day in a row and the snow is beginning to melt. As I typed the icicles on my deck just dropped and scared me to pieces. :)
Sorry Tom, that unknown was me.
ReplyDeleteAh, it does look gray and that's what we're having here, too! But what terrific shots you got, Tom!! Every day I get up hoping to see a bit of blue, but so far no luck. Have a great weekend and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
Gray skies, those are familiar. I like the plane with the blue sky.
ReplyDeletePlanes, icicles and clouds - all in the sky. Great shots. Hope all your fishing is good.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots Tom, as always. My favorite is the last one. Hoping to experience that sort of sky. Sky even if dark, gray or gloomy is always beautiful.

Sorry your skies are so gray these days. We had thunder, lightning, hail, snow and rain last night, but today dawned clear and blue.
ReplyDeleteLike the header Tom.

Love you header ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt does look cold and grey where you live but that middle shot is lovely through the branches.
Hugs and blessings,
Have your icicles melted yet, Tom??? We have had two days of moderating temperatures---and most of the ice and snow is gone---or almost gone!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat sky pictures. I know what you mean when you say that the BLUE sky is nice. I AGREE!!!!
Betsy
Beautiful capture. Very lovely sky shots.
ReplyDeleteHi Tom, excellent skywatch photos. The sky is available to us everywhere and thanks to you and the wonderful Skywatch team, I have been experimenting with MANY sky shots. I did a double take at your stunning header and then read about the competition. The Southern White Rhino is near threatened - so much so that in Uganda and other African countries it is not seen in the wild any longer. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos.
ReplyDeletePretty deadly looking icicles there Tom and great skies.
ReplyDeleteSmiles
Those skies are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of clouds with blue sky :)!
Magnificent set of pictures, the last one is a dream, just perfect!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteLove the shots! The second one is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteThose are some amazing icicles. Wow. Our winter has been pretty dry, so these are the first I've seen all winter!
ReplyDeletePlanes aren't that easy to capture, good one! I love the second photo, a lot. Real icicles, know you will be glad when it starts warming up.
ReplyDeleteah, nice, the plane looks like a bird.
ReplyDeleteas always...nice captures tom. probably lean to the tree branches against the blue blue sky as my fav...
ReplyDeletethe rhinos caught my attention in your header...great shot
Those icicles are huge! It must be very cold. Wonderful set this week.
ReplyDeleteI like the long icyles shot---they look like daggers. Hope they don't land on someone's head. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteFG, I'm feeling better now. Had a bad cold this past week. Did little blogging but a lot os sleeping.
Wow.. logged on to your site and was a bit confused! lol.. zebra's and rhino's and .. My fishing friend has gone to Africa.. (wink) great photos.. stay warm.. I am in the mood for a little African heat this a.m. my self..
ReplyDeleteWe finally have some blue skies today, but most of the time we have the same clouds you showed in your last picture.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your win in the Header Competition.
Nice skies you have Tom.
ReplyDeleteThem is some serious icicles. I would have missed noticing that plane if you hadn't mentioned it. I was paying more attention to the contrast between the deep blue sky and the white puffy clouds.
ReplyDeleteThe one with the plane still visible in the distance is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Tom! and I love the new header - rhinos, wow!
ReplyDeleteI liked the silhouette shot the most...Thomas
ReplyDeleteWhat endless variety there is in the sky Tom. One never sees the same thing twice.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue sky and fluffy clouds. The last photo made me shiver. Brrr! It's a cool photo, too, though.
ReplyDeleteLove the airplane in the sky, and the lovely shade of blue in the second photo. Lots of icicles in your land!
