The Spring brings the Lilac and my neighbor has some neat ones. These purple blooms are not only lovely, they are also very fragrant. These were taken at the end of April.
It is hard not to capture their beauty.
They also have them in white but I like the purple.

Lilacs are a wonderfully fragrant Spring blossom. I'm with you -- I like the purple variety best.

We had a lilac tree and a dwarf lilac bush in our backyard.
I'm in heaven when I can pick some lilac and bring it into my home! Beautiful shot. Can almost smell them! ~karen
