Header Competition # 19 - Cinema

The header theme this week by Gail's Man from England and is "Cinema". Mac,Tom, Darla, Martha, Gail's Man and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. 

The Kent Stage was a $1 Cinema when we first moved to Kent. Two theaters so you could catch the shows you had missed. They now have some movies but mostly live shows.
Today the Cinema is on DVD and you can watch Cimema at home. This is a small part of my movies.
You can get quite a collection of cinema to watch when you wish, hello Harry Potter.

My final choice was the Mid Way Drive-In Theater located half way between Kent and Ravenna. The cost is $10 per car load with a double feature. The Drive-In was a big part of my childhood Cinema experience.

    Great choice for a header! There aren't too many drive-ins available anymore. Brings back a lot of memories! ~karen

    Tom, you've done it again, showing me little bits and pieces of my childhood too. I remember the big old green screen of the Midway, with red lettering. And although it was long before my time, my great grandfather Floyd Hill was a projectionist at what is now the Kent Stage.

    Tom, some of my favorite memories were at the old "99" Drive In,in Bakersfield Calif. It was only four bucks to discover the mystries of life...

    i only see drive-in theaters in movies (usually horror flicks) coz there is no drive-in theaters here. do they open even if it snow?

    Nice choice Tom, though I wouldn't want to be there now. Weren't drive-ins for making out? I like your choice of movies also.

    Oh My .... I remember drive-in's... My boyfriend and I used to go to the drive-in.. Don't think we saw much of the movies though. ha ha

    This takes me WAY back Tom. I remember I used to get 10c pocket money. 5c Was for movies and the other for candy and it bought me a huge bag of them which would last me all week. Now I am really showing my age aren't I? LOL!!

    Oh I so remember the drive inn theater. Got my first kiss at the drive inn and I will never forget watching the Birds and being scared to death - after all we were outdoors watching.
