My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 18

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

My World was hit by a snow storm with the snow reaching 18" to 36" in drifts.

The Sun has been out since but we are cold as shown by the ice on the treetops.
The world is really wintry right now.

The deer are mighty hungry and have dug down to the buried corn feed. You wonder how I know it's deer, look below.

Here are a couple in the yard right after the storm the next day.
Go and visit a lot of great worlds above.

  4. You have WAY more snow than we have right now! But it looks so pure and beautiful. Too bad it has to be shoveled, eh?

  11. Wow Tom, you got really buried. I don't miss these kinds of midwest winters. Nice shots of the deer, sure glad there was corn for them to find.

  12. I think the deer are better off than the people!
The snow will allow them to reach the buds higher on the trees. Our deer do fine in winter.
Good luck with the snow. We're expecting more!

  15. Gee---that's alot of snow... Wow!!! Makes me wonder how the critters make it when this happens... I feel sorry for the birds and the deer--especially the deer since they have to STAY in the snow--and cannot do like the birds and get up in the trees...

    Beautiful pictures though.

  21. What beautiful snow and sky shots. In South Africa we have courses on how to photograph snow (because it's difficult for us to get good snow pictures) and here you are doing a wonderful job just like that! I love the deer in your back yard.
