My World was hit by a snow storm with the snow reaching 18" to 36" in drifts.
The Sun has been out since but we are cold as shown by the ice on the treetops.
The world is really wintry right now.
The deer are mighty hungry and have dug down to the buried corn feed. You wonder how I know it's deer, look below.
Here are a couple in the yard right after the storm the next day.

ReplyDeleteThe snow will allow them to reach the buds higher on the trees. Our deer do fine in winter.

ReplyDeleteGee---that's alot of snow... Wow!!! Makes me wonder how the critters make it when this happens... I feel sorry for the birds and the deer--especially the deer since they have to STAY in the snow--and cannot do like the birds and get up in the trees...

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful snow and sky shots. In South Africa we have courses on how to photograph snow (because it's difficult for us to get good snow pictures) and here you are doing a wonderful job just like that! I love the deer in your back yard.
