This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.
This was a morning trip to the Main Street Bridge to see the Cuyahoga River as a train went by. You can see the end of the train on the lower track.
This is looking downstream at The Pufferbelly Restaurant above the tracks. You can also the train car that is used for meetings. The graffiti can be seen on the lower wall. Some of the graffiti is well done.
You can see all the snow on the observation platform.
We are having rain today with more snow coming behind this front.

That's an interesting place. I love the old structures.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could do something about the snow/rain. Pretty hard to get any color in the outdoor photos LOL
ReplyDeleteWe're getting some of the snow you are talking about too. I love trains, water and bridges, all of which you shown us here. :)
ReplyDeleteVery lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteI love this shot along the train tracks. There is so much to look at.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Tom, I do so wish I could send you some of our sunshine and blue skies!!! Of course, the rain returns tomorrow, but it's not THAT cold and we are getting lovely spots of color as trees and flowers begin to bloom! Terrific, snowy, cold looking captures even so! Hope you have a great week! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
Love the snow on the platform in that last pic. Looks as if winter is still hanging on where you are.
ReplyDeleteI get envious with snow posting, sometimes I wish we get them around here.
ReplyDeleteMan Tom! It looks like it just gets colder and colder! Hope you have a sun lamp.
ReplyDeleteWe had snow and "mist" today. Rain would have been good as it would have melted some of the snow!
ReplyDeleteIs the Pufferbelly in the former train station? We have a restaurant in the older (and much nicer) one here. Everyone claps if a train goes by while they are eating.
Nice shots Tom.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful compositions.
ReplyDeleteBRRRRRRRRR!
ReplyDeleteExcellent my world shots Tom! I hope to start playing again one of these days too. See you Wednesday :-)
ReplyDeleteI just love old industrial sites. I've always loved the name Cuyahoga. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteVery nice area, reminds me of a canal back home. We have icy rain today and snow coming too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice views, with the snow and the water! Very cold there!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes graffiti can be very interesting. I really like the lines in your photos and how the snow accentuates them.
ReplyDeletenice to see snow covered places.. It is a sight we never get in our part of india
ReplyDeleteJee, still quite a bit of snow in your parts.
ReplyDeleteHope spring's coming soon.
Love to see the different views there! :)
Graffiti added character on the walls. And still snow all over town. Beautiful captures, though.

What ever blows thru Ohio blows thru the D.C. area about 24 hours laters. Oh, dear!
ReplyDeleteI like the name pufferbelly! My daughter has a friend whose last name is pufferberger so I can't wait till marries and has little pufferbergers.
Brrrr.... Tom you have more snow than the canyon. Love that last shot. Try to stay warm. When do you leave?
ReplyDelete7 days left.
Love the photos-I go by train tracks every day-but no train runs on them. Your photos makes me wish one did.

ReplyDeleteThose buildings look old. I like old buildings.
ReplyDeleteI've decided I'm not posting anymore snow pictures this winter. I think everyone has seen more snow than they want to this year.
