Those are terrific photos. We have several big flocks here at the farm most of the time. We love to see them on the pond in the morning. My older girls, when they were little, figured out how they knew when to fly out. Each group went at a different time and there were leaders that would begin a particular call and waggle their heads and then in moments that group would lift off. Each group would do that until the pond was empty and the geese had gone off to the pastures for the day. Then like clock work they would return in the evening. Have a splendid day on your end of the world!
We have some that winter near a couple of neighboorhood ponds but more are coming back. I noticed a flock flying overhead yesterday. I really like your reflection shot!
