The header theme this week by Mac and is "Snowdrop". Mac,Tom, Darla, Martha, Gail's Man and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week.
Snowdrop, now that is something I've seen a lot of this February. I'll never forget this squirrel had a lot of snow drop on him.
Then I thought of the deer when the snow was dropping pretty good.
But then I realized that Mac was talking about something completely different. A little flower that comes in the spring and the very first to show their face along with the crocus. So here is a Snowdrop (Galanthus) from my early Spring garden.
I only have one plat up and in bloom so I tried to take different angles.
The photo of this Snowdrop was used as my header.

Very nice, I like the snow, snowdrops too!
ReplyDeleteGood try F/G, did some snow drop on you too?
ReplyDeleteI like your take on this idea.
The picture of the squirrel with all that snow on him is funny. I bet he was surprised! The snowdrop flower is pretty. I don't know if I have ever seen one.
ReplyDeleteExcellent header again this week... your Snowdrops are very nice.
ReplyDeleteLovely Tom!
ReplyDeleteThe deer picture is lovely!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

The poor Bambi with his snowy nose. It's nice to see the flowers. It proves that the weather is getting better.
ReplyDeleteYou almost always bring a smile to my face!! Nice header, great post. ~kaen
ReplyDeleteThose are great. I do not think I have ever seen (or noticed) that little flower before. I wonder if we have them around here.
ReplyDeleteWow, I thought that I was the only one that made those kind of mistakes,( Oh! You wanted one fourty foot stick of angle iron, not fourty one foot sticks... Oops!) Great shots of all the snow drops!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if anyone would show a 'drop of snow'... You did GOOD.... Love the header also.

These are wonderful. I love the snow-covered squirrel. That is sweet. And the nose of the deer....These are great.
ReplyDeletevery sharp images of the plant. awesome shot FG.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the snowdrop! And it makes an excellent header. Watching the squirrels two plus feet of snow was entertaining. Ours seemed to know where every acorn was buried, disappeared under the snow, and returned to eat with head sticking out of the snow.
ReplyDeleteI like these little things, sometimes the little things can speak loudly. I need to get some of these for my Cherry Hill Garden to go with my other spring bulbs there. But you know, I really am very fond of Mr.Squirrel.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Snowdrops, even the ones on the squirrel and the deer...LOL
ReplyDeleteblessya

ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. Great idea. The squirrel is cute - well, so is the deert. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little flower. I need to get some of those and plant with my crocus. I think it would be a nice accent.
ReplyDeleteThat deer and squirrel look cold!
I love all your "snowdrop" photos! That deer was my favorite!
