Sky Watch Friday This is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link at 3:00 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.
We got another littler reprieve from the gray skies and a blue cloudy day appeared.
We had the start of a neat sunset.
It progressed quite nicely and put on quite the show.
The next day dawned beautifully and blue skies again prevailed. Could we have turned the bend to a start to a warming trend. The deer were feeding under the morning Sun on my snowy yard. You can see the paths they make as they feed. I think there are about 20 deer in the area.
You can see a lot of great skies if you visit SWF above.

Stunning - all of the photos. Esp. the third picture. It's tone is so soft and relaxing. ~karen

Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteOh what wonderful sky shots! I meant to get some late afternoon shots but when I pulled in the driveway I seemed to have a never ending list of things that had to be done.
ReplyDeleteYou know for a self proclaimed "city boy" you sure have a lot of wild life in your backyard! The coloring of our lambs wool fades in a month or two and some of them are already turning white right after birth. Not sure why the black coloring on the wool that will be completely white by the time they are six months old or earlier. It could have something to do with their face and leg coloring but that is actual hair and not wool. But most lambs are the color they will be. Even our good friend who has Jacob sheep, spotted black and white, the black is black and the white is already white at the moment of birth. Animals, all of God's creation actually, is absolutely fascinating and mind boggling at times don't you think?
They're all good shots but the second one is great. I find it hard to get the starburst without unwated artifacts in the shot.
