Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 35

Sky Watch Friday This is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link at 3:00 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

We have had a few clear nights and I made these Moon captures. Here is a moody photo of the Moon through the branches of a tree.
I also captured this Moon as it rose above the trees. Which one do you like best?

See a lot of great sky shots above.

  1. I like them both for different reasons. Not sure I can pick a favorite because they are so different and have their own unique beauty. I also love your header. That's a truly amazing shot of the fish.

  13. I enjoyed both these shots, the first for those branches adding a very neat artsy look to it, and the second for its traditional view of the moon. Two very cool photos!

  16. I was reading before looking at the piccies and out of the corner of my eye could see the branches shot, I was confused untill I read the caption. Nice shots not sure if I like one more than the other but then I used to be indecisive but I am not so sure if I am anymore. Have a good week ,XXX Don

  24. What a beautiful moon - but I love your header. Is it a smallmouth? We can catch them only in a few lakes here.
