Today's Flowers # 84

The snow is gone so the Spring flowers do appear. The lowly crocus is first to appear. These purple crocus just popped out of the ground as the soon as they could.
The purple crocus is a beautiful flower.
You can see a lot of great flowers above.

  5. I always look for the first crocus to pop out of the ground. I get so excited when I see them, because I know that warmer weather is on its way. I haven't seen any crocus here yet. I'll have to go take a look; you'll only one state away from me!

  16. so lovely,i personally loved purple colors...btw,is that the same crocus use for cooking spanish paella?i saw it on travel and living last week and said crocus was so expensive because its a very rare spice.mind to check if this the same crocus?thanks!
