Camera Critters # 106- Pigeons

The pigeons of Brixen, Italy came to lunch with me. They were a neat flock and very respectful. I shared some bread from my sandwich.
They came in a lot of color patterns.

They had really neat eyes and cool red feet.

They all had the regal walk.
I really like this brown and white one.

You can see a lot of critter at the above site.

  2. Quite graceful! :)
I had a "familiar" feeling when looking at your header pic and when I read "Löwen Apotheke" it confirmed to me: it's Germany! I love that country!
    God bless you!

  4. So typical for the pigeons to be around, especially in Europe. Life without them definitely would be different. Thanks for sharing, these are very nice. Anna :)

  14. There have always been pigeons at the farm I grew up at and still are today. They actually belong to my brother now, a few miles from the farm but Mom says they fly in every day to visit. I always loved the brown ones too or the snow white ones.
    BlessYou and thanks for sharing

  15. Beautiful pigeons, Tom---especially lucky one to live where you were !!!!! Wonder if their pigeons are as much trouble as some of ours are ????? We had tons of trouble with pigeons living in the steeple at one of my churches several years ago...

  24. Oh this is so funny! I just got a pic of some pigeons yesterday, and today I put one up on my Facebook. I have a couple other birds that I'll post on the blog this week instead. It looks like you got real close. I used to see them a lot, growing up in Chicago, but the three pigeons hanging around with a flock of seagulls was a rare find around here.
