My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 27

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

Brixen, Italy - located in the foothills of the Alps. This is the second place the band performed as they crossed the Alps.
There was a church from the 1400's on the square.
The Shaker Band performed in front of the church from the 1700's.

A quick look inside, check out the ceiling.

My son the band's director giving the rules for the rest of the day after the performance.

I do hope you enjoyed the northern part of Italy.

The Alps has to be just amazing.

  38. I am wondering how difficult it would be to get some good photos of those frescos on the ceiling. We're talking multiple floodlights, probably slow shutter speeds on a tripod.

  39. Thank you for this lovely trip down memory lane. It still seems odd to see Brixen as Italian when historically and linguistically and architecturally it is still Austrian. Ah the fortunes of ware and foreign powers redistributing geography. The Baroque church is really something isn't it?
