Camera Critters # 112 - More Birds from Mexico

Here are some more photos from Mexico. This was a neat woodpecker similar to our Red-bellied but with a golden crown.
This was a Curved Billed Thrasher, it looks like it caught something tasty.
This was a little wren on a building.

There was a great White Egret that frequented a pond near my daughter's house.

This was a Guinea Fowl that ran with the Peacocks.

I do hope you enjoyed the birds.

  1. Great bird photos, and I was very ftaken with the woodpecker and that lovely coloring on his head. Never seen one like him before. Lovely traveling to different parts and seeing what kind of bird life they have there.

  3. Some nice birds there. We've been trying to get some good woodpecker shots but the subject seems to be a bit camera shy. My sister ended up getting some great Tawny Owl shots instead. :)
