Camera Critters # 116 - Grosbeak

The Rose Breasted Grosbeak came to the feeder. It wasn't very co-operative.
It did get a bite to eat.
It then did a great pose for the food.
See a lot of other neat critters above.

  7. You obviously know how to get him to pose. We must not be serving the proper menu since we can't get a Grosbeak to pose for us.

  8. Wow. Wasn't expecting him to look like that when he turned around. He looks like he's been stabbed. Nice capture.

  19. Tom, you are so lucky! I've only ever had one of these visit my feeders, and it was during spring migration last year, so its plumage wasn't very lovely. I keep hoping he'll stop back by, but so far no sign of him. Knowing you have them in your yard gives me hope, though. You aren't that far north of me.

I'm glad he finally posed for you. :)
