Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 2

I was fishing this morning and heard the woosh-woosh sound of a hot air balloon. It was just taking off and it rose above the lake. It was quite the show. Not bad photos for my lake camera a Canon Powershot A590.

    I see the balloon's reflection in the water in the first photo. Must have been a nice surprise to see the balloon rising over the water. Hope that hot air whooshing didn't scare the fish!

    You don't have any bad shots, Tom! These are terrific! Love the balloon! One of the fun things I've been able to do is enjoy a balloon ride over the wine country in California! Love the reflection in water, too! Have a great weekend!

    Well, I am jealous! I haven't seen a hot air balloon overhead in some time. Do you protect your camera from water when you take it fishing?

    When I was but a wee lad, I told my father that one day I was going to travel all over the place in one of those big, beautiful balloons. He didn't believe me. Do you know what he said? He said, "Son, you're full of hot air."
