Last year I bought Yellow Knock-Out Roses and here is the life cycle of the blossoms. You can see all the blooms the plant produces.
They first start out with a yellow bud with an orange tinge.
They then open up to a bright yellow bloom.
They then open up further and still have color.
The final stage is to turn white and loose their leaves.
I think it is a neat cycle of life.

that's a gorgeous shade of yellow. we have one like this, transplanted it a few weeks ago and is now working hard just to survive.
