This was a nicer week with a promise of Spring getting closer. We hit the 70'F two days but there was frost on my car windows this morning. Guess what, the weathermen are predicting snow for the weekend. What would April be without a snow.
We had a beautiful sunset one night this week. I haven't seen many of these.
I went to a local park to get pictures of the two towering trees as they go into the sky.
The winter has hurt this one some but I think it will put on a display this year.
You can see the loose branch in the sky.
Enjoyed viewing your pictures and listening to the music. Great sky shots!
ReplyDeleteI love the glow of the sunset through the trees. And I love fractal skeletal tree photos. Yours are very full and interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis conveys a really nice impression of the atmosphere in the photos. Congratulations on the sunset!
ReplyDeleteCheers,

Great towering trees.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots.
Nice job fishing guy!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are awesome and I had to hang out for a while just to listen to the great music... way cool!
ReplyDeletegreat photos.
ReplyDeleteGood sangin, good pitchers, and good fun. Who better than a fisherman to know the beauty of the sky. Red sky at morning sailors take warning - Red sky at night sailors delight. Good fishing from the Texican.
ReplyDeleteThe tree in the bottom photo has an intriguing shape. Makes me think of an obelisk.
ReplyDeleteThese weather patterns are nuts. I comfort myself by recalling the heat wave of 6 years ago, when kids were swimming on Easter vacation!
I love trees against the sky. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteVery nice sky pictures. I like them very much!
ReplyDeleteThose trees look like there touching the sky. Beautiful sky post
ReplyDeleteWell Done... these are stunning for Sky Watch.. and I have a thing for trees.. I don't go around hugging them or anything.. not that kind of thing.. I just like them...
ReplyDeleteHow am I going to go on this week with Sky Watch, Blogging and The Masters being on.. ;o)
Just Rose -4 =68 again top of the leader board...
Did you get to see any? Our BBC will be showing it live at times and then highlights..
What about the Hole in One... another Brit.. Ian Poulter -2 =70..
I still think the man to beat will of course be Tiger..
Anyhow back to Sky Watch...Tom
Beautiful colours in the first one. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish for you that spring will appear soon!
Lovely music here.
Wishing you a nice weekend - with or without snow.... ;)
These are classic examples of Ohio skies. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteAbraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio.
Good job!! Love that first photo, especially ... but I'm partial to trees also!
ReplyDeleteNice tree and sky shots. I guess trees in any form are one of my favorite things to photograph.
ReplyDeleteI hope the snow fizzles out before it gets up here to Maine! We had 66ยบ yesterday.
Great old tree. Thanks for sharing Fishing Guy. You get to get out and go fishing lately or is the water still to cold. ;-) Supposed to be nice this weekend (here anyway)
ReplyDeleteI love the shapes of trees against the sky--a nice way to appreciate them--before they all leaf-out.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos! Such great colors...
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the broken tree... You should see the sorry state of the trees here in my town, after a tornado destroyed 95% of the town last year!
These are great sky watch photos!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are awesome!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful skies for sure. The sky and clouds looking through the trees are really great. Have fun this weekend, (fishing?) :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love sunset ones, especially!
ReplyDeleteLove the towering trees. The ice storm we had here in December damaged most of the trees here too.
ReplyDeleteSomeone told me that this Winter is being considered the "worst Winter ever" back home in Ohio.
It's almost fishing time! Ahhh, that makes me miss my dad, the wolf, and Mogadore Reservoir!
Very beautiful photographs with marvellously hot and cold colours, make our disposal and your blog.
ReplyDeleteHi there, Fishing Guy! Gotta ooh and ahh over that sunset! Oh, and I love the name of your blog, and I wouldn't want to turn off the music...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos and I enjoyed the music as well
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours. Lovely composition.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I especially love the sunset!

I really enjoyed these; I love bare tree photos against the sky.
ReplyDeleteGrat compositions and colours, specialy the 1st one!
ReplyDeleteThe weather's crazy but soon it'll be so warm we'll be complaining about the heat. ;-) But I do hope you didn't get any snow.
ReplyDeleteTree limbs are beautiful against the sky, I think.
I loved very much the sunset!
ReplyDeleteThis sunset is Marvelous, great post!
Have a nice weekend,
Santilli
