This is the ninth posting for the
My World meme . It is hosted by Klaus, Ivar,Sandy, Wren, Louise and myself. Last week there were 101 people showing their worlds to us. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Here is part of 'My World'.
I thought today I would tell a story close to home. I'm driving down the street to my home and you can see my green truck on the left.

Here is my house last Winter. It was gray-brown with green trim and a brick front. It is a three bedroom split level with three bedrooms. We used the family room as our bedroom when we had the four children at home. We added the front porch many years ago.

My shed was reddish-brown stain with green trim.

During the Summer we had a change in the siding.

The house went from aluminum to vinyl with burgundy shutters.

I painted the shed to match the house.

I am showing the back of the house with the deck we added 10 years ago on the back of the house.
This was a trip to where I have lived for 35 years. Go out and see some of the other places that people are from.
Thanks for inviting us to your house. You made me feel right at home.

Thanks for sharing your neck of the woods. I love the deck, I bet that makes for nice warm nights of BBQing in the summer months. Looks like you all have a lot less snow than us here in northern Michigan. We had about 2 feet until the rain washed a lot of it away yesterday. Now we have ice everywhere. Ick!

ReplyDeleteHere we are reaching the long and hot days. But you come to short and cold days .
But the truth is that the climate is getting crazy. In the state of Santa Catarina is raining for a month and in the states next to (Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná) there is a drought as never happened.
I do not know how it will be the planet from our children and grandchildren, but we must do everything possible to save that.
Strong hug and a happy Christmas to you and your family
