Today's Flowers #18

My friends Luiz, Denise and Pupo run the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 7GMT is the post time.

If you have seen this on other post I apologize but this is important. Michele of Rocky Mountain Retreat has had another set back and will not be posting this week. Her last post was on Today's Flowers last week. If you know her stop over and see the beautiful posting from her husband, Marcell, on her condition. Let us all hold her in our prayers for a recovery from this illness. In honor of her great photography I post my the Lilies through the year from my daughter-in-law and my next door neighbor. This is also for you Michele and your quick recovery. You have given me so much encouragement in my photography and I thank you for all you have said.

My daughter-in-law has special lilies in her flower garden. This is only one of them.
The remainder are from my next door neighbors garden which is between our houses.
He grows some real beauties.
I'm always glad when I can capture them.
This salmon colored one is special.
This pair is for Marcell and Michele and may there love grow closer through these trials. I count them both as friends.
I think the lilies are beautiful as you are, Michele, and I send them your way for a soon recovery.

  32. It seems strange to visit your blog for the first time and see you have posted my favorite of all lilies. That Star Lily (bottom pictures) was what my husband always gave me when they were in season and so are extremely special to me. We also have a Day Lilly which is the same as your first one. I did a post on some of ours if you are interested in seeing them.

Thanks for visiting my page. :)

My thoughts and prayers go to Michelle too.
