Yesterday I showed a New Years Day photo and here are some more from the Winter sky. This was taken at 11:30 AM. I had some lens reflections from the bright Sun which I left in.
It was 1:00 PM and the clouds had overtaken the Sun.
I was able to get a couple of angles on the Sun.I then take you to the 6:30 PM sunset with some great colors in the sky.
Go to Sky Watch to see some great sky shots.

Beautiful pictures of the sky, Tom.
ReplyDeleteThe bottom photo made me say,"OH"
ReplyDeleteBeing bed ridden with pulled tendons in my right knee....this photo made me smile.

2nd one I have seen so far that the clouds appear to be snow.

Great shots. I REALLY like the 2nd and 4th ones!
ReplyDeleteWonderful wintertime shots. I love how the sky looks like cotton wool in some of them.
ReplyDeleteThe second and last are my favorites, but you have a wonderful collection. I am partial to an altocumulus stratiformus cloud structure. The pink and blue in the last are so delicately woven together. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI really like the last two. The third one is like a postcard and the colors in the last one are soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteThese are really awesome shots! Thanks so much for sharing the beauty! I still can't sign in to Mr. Linky, do hate to miss a Sky Watch!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent shots, all 4 of them. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCheers!

ReplyDeleteThese shots are so cool - the 2 middle shots really look like cotton balls in the sky!

ReplyDeleteHI FG,
ReplyDeleteI like all of these, but esp. the last two. You caught cool cloud formations and the last, mmm.
The last one is especially beautiful. I believe it is going to rain this whole weekend and here I had been thinking that I would be able to get out to take some pictures.

Great photos, especially that bottom one. Love all that popping pink.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots!
ReplyDeleteLove the first one with the exploding sun, although the others are nice too.
ReplyDeleteAs every week they're wonderful again.
ReplyDeleteI specially like the second and the fourth picture.
On the second one, I was amazed by the thickness of the clouds. It gives texture to your picture.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful serie for Sky Watch.
Great captures! Picture number 3 is intriging. Looks like a gigantic UFO is landing to spread menace on us earthlings. It really is very unique.
ReplyDeleteExcellent clouds. I love those dreamy patterns but that last shot is a gem.
ReplyDeleteI love those skies full of fat full looking clouds...wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe second and third photo amaze. I don't think I've ever seen clouds like that; either in real life or even in photos. The textured look of the clouds is amazing.
