The Honey Bees finally came out on some warm days to gather nectar from the Crocus. The beauty of the Crocus is only enhanced by the Honey Bees visiting. You can see the pollen on the bee's legs as he does the work.
This one is really working hard to get every drop.

Yep, it's a good sign of spring, Fishing Guy. Lovely happy pictures you give us here.
ReplyDeleteNice series. #2 is my fav. Spring is almost here. Blue Skies.
ReplyDeleteHi Tom, still feeling well???? I hope! We have Crocus--but I haven't seen any honey bees yet.
ReplyDeleteI got outside and cleaned our rock sidewalk (from the front of the house around the side to the back deck). I cleaned up those left-over nuts/acorns from fall, lots of leaves and sticks. Dirty job--but it needed to be done!!! I would have thought that the squirrels would have gotten the nuts--but there were just too many this past Fall.
Have a great weekend.
Betsy
Oh my..this is so lovely!!
ReplyDeleteNice macros of the bees and crocuses. I guess the bees agree with the calendar that spring is here!

ReplyDeleteGreat shots! The bees aren't out flying here yet, but I'll "capture" them for my blog as soon as I see them. People look at me like I'm crazy when I sit on the trail and happily snap away at the bees and other bugs. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, FG. As usual.
ReplyDeleteI like trying to get shots of the bees and other flying creatures. Sometimes it's not easy. Which is part of the challenge.
Great captures! You have flowers blooming already???
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing wonderful, my friend - I continue to keep you in my prayers.
My daughter used to draw her 3 year old version of the pollen baskets on the bee legs. Thanks for the memories!
