Sky Watch Friday is doing really well. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were over 380 people last week with beautiful Sky photos. It was a record number of entries. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.
As I was going for rehabilitation I had to stop and see the morning sunrise. It was as much rehabilitation as the actual exercise. I was early so I could take some time to capture the show. The sun came up slowly and started to light up the sky.

The skies came alive as the golden orb rose into the sky.

The power of the sun was clearly shown the further it went.

I drove to the parking lot of the hospital and got a few more shots of the beautiful risen sun.

Join in the fun and visit some of the skies around the world.

The bright blue backdrop really enhances the golden tones in these shots. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you have some such problems that require rehabilitation. Hopefully whatever it is you're well on the way to full fitness again.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely shots. I think sunrises are perhaps even lovelier than sunsets. Something about it starting out as dark and slowly followed by the first red light the sun appears at the horizon. It's fascinating to watch it rise and see how the light changes minute by minute.
So soft. What a beautiful way to begin the day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures as always how are you feeling? I hope all is going well for you.
ReplyDeleteSunset fireworks! Beautiful!
