Camera Critters # 59

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

A doe came into that back yard last week. She stayed in the woods and browsed on the brush.
She acted like she knew we were watching.
She stayed alert and continued to graze.
My grandson decided to sneak up on it, when the front door slammed she was gone.
Go and visit some other critters from around the world.

  1. Hmmm...slamming doors does not a good sneak make. ;-)

  13. Hi, Tom. Love the photos, and the story. Isn't it fun to share your love for wildlife with children? Today, my kids and I watched orioles building a nest, a cabbage looper caterpillar, an inchworm, a toad, and a carpenter ant. It was fun just observing them. And I feel like I'm fostering a life-long love for God's creatures.

  14. I wish. I have small animals that slip under the fence and some that fly over but none are as large as the deer. Nice shots.

  16. You got great pictures of the doe. It's too bad the slamming door ruined your grandson's plan. (I wonder who slammed the door?).
