Today I thought I would show the red tulip in my front porch bed. I thought it has a great inside. This shot focuses on the inside of the tulip. You can enlarge it for a better view. This shot focuses on the outside of the tulip.
I don't have a today's flowers post but thought I would stop by a minute while I had the chance. My tulips are gone, but there are all kinds of buds showing on my irises...
I love this kind of tulips, I have some just like them in my yard but they're already finished blooming. The black, yellow and red makes such a striking color combination. Very pretty photos!
Something we have in common... I like taking pics of the inside of tulips, too. I didn't get mine posted this year, but I DID take pictures. Maybe I'll fit them in somewhere...hmmmmmm
Abe nailed it. That pretty red tulip looks like a red poppy. It is still raining cats and dogs in Virginia but I'm only showing pics of dogs on my blog.
