I know I showed my Calla Lilies last year but the bed is a wonderful producer. I mulch it with leaves each year to protect it from the winter and they come back so wonderful each year. I have two types as you can see from the different type leaves.

The Pink Calla Lilies have a solid green leaf.

They put on a wonderful show in the early Summer.

The White Calla Lilies have a green leaf with white spots. You can see a few pink ones close by.

See some other great sites to see some great flowers.
Beautiful Lilies, Tom. We don't have any Callas--but they are just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday.
Hugs to you both,
Betsy

I can't as they are poisonous to cats and I have two that munch plants.
Love the hint of pink in some of these. Nice shots.

Beautiful calla, they are so well photographed. We have a post on Today's Flower in May of Calla in Taiwan. I think it was a lot hotter in Taiwan, thus the season was earlier.

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful calla's, FG! My hot pink ones bloomed like crazy but I haven't had a single bud on the yellow ones.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. Haven't seen pink ones, only whites.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Very impressive arrangement of flowers!
ReplyDeleteCan't help it, everytime someone says Calla Lilly I just hear Kathrine Hepburn say, "such a strange flower..."
ReplyDelete"The calla lilies are in bloom again. Such a strange flower, suitable to any occasion. I carried them on my wedding day, and now I place them here in memory of something that has died." (Stage Door)
I love the touch of pink in it Tom. Did you ever see the yellow and black ones I posted?

ReplyDeleteHow long has that Calla bed been there? It's beautiful, I'm thinking mine are in way too much sun.
ReplyDeleteOh my, yes, the lilies are very pretty indeed. I'm not too familiar to these flowers in how to grow them and such except that they are beautiful. One day if I get a home with gardens, I will need to come to you for advice on how to grow these lovelies. =)
ReplyDeleteA great display of Callas. I love the light in the last one.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of the lilies Tom and I certainly did enjoy your post on the wilds. Places like these are so much nicer to visit than those where the animals are kept in small cages.
