Camera Critters # 79

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

I had a lucky encounter yesterday and found a group of Wild Turkey in an open field. Since I have my camera with me most of the time, I was able to get several photos of the flock before they left. There were three gobblers trying to strut their stuff.
The gobblers were having a lot of fun while the females were feeding.
It was a fun encounter and I was happy to be a part of the action.

  1. I don't often see the males hanging about, usually just the females. Nice photos. I like the dove in the header, too. Every time I come here you have a wonderful new photo up top.

  2. Great shots Tom!
I haven't seen any males yet. Yesterday Mama and her babies walked through. They were drenched by the rain and the babies are getting hard to tell the difference now.
It sure pays to keep that camera handy.

    Mine's here:

It looks like some young boys strutting their stuff, no visible beards.

Have a great weekend my friend, I'm off to the lake now to wet a line....
