Camera Critters # 80

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

It was a dismal day with poor light conditions and a light rain had fallen. I look out the window and a mother White Tailed Deer and her two fawns had come into the yard. The mother was eating a Zucchini that has been discarded in the back of the garden area. The two youngsters moved away from the woods and came toward the house. I was in my bedroom window and even though they were nervous they kept coming.
The two fawns were curious because they had never been here in the daylight.
The coats are changing from the reddish summer coat to a brown winter coat. These are nice healthy deer for sure. The bottom of their tail is white hence the name from when they raise the tail.
You can see a lot of neat critters above.

  5. I think they are cool critters to have in your yard. That is if they do not eat all your bushes.
    Thanks for sharing.

  6. 'My' set of twins are pretty much staying in my yard these days. I almost posted them today as well. Those you captured do look very healthy. Some to the mamas here I can see their ribs and worry about them for the winter.
Good shots of my favorite wildlife!

They are here on the farm, I know because I see their foot prints and what they eat from. But I NEVER get to see them. Darn it!

  14. How lovely to have them pay a visit Tom. Watch out for your vegetable patch next summer as they are bound to make full use of your veggies then. :)
