I had tried so hard this year to get a Carolina Wren and had no luck. They would move so fast and never stop for a photo. I added a suet feeder and have been justly rewarded. They now come in and stay for more then just one bite.
I think they are a beautiful bird and love the white eye stripe.
I was even lucky enough to get two for my header contest.

Hi, Tom. These are terrific photos. Carolina wrens are among my most favorite birds. I love their spunky personalities. Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteThat's one beautiful birdie!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen one like that before.
It always amazes me how different you and our birds are :D
Hello Ton
ReplyDeleteI'm slowly in the blogosphere. But I come to wish you a happy new year.
Perfect pictures of the Carolina wren... I tried to get one of our Carolina wren yesterday--but didn't get a very good one like yours. Love your header!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

What perfect shots! And, your header is so beautiful...that red against the snowy background (and the adorable birds, of course) is so good. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe wern is a very pretty bird! They are tough to photograph I bet just like my Junko. I have many "empty" photos of our trees out back where there *was* a bird! Good job & thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Perry
What beautiful captures. I miss having a bird feeder.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful little bird!
ReplyDeleteThey ARE cute little birds.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, those are great shots!
Cute, Nice entry. Mine is up!
ReplyDeleteWe have Carolina wrens here in VA and Jack feeds them thistle seed that they seem to love. They look like plump well fed babies. Very cute and very active little darlings.
