Pure gray skies is what Iv'e seen a lot of lately. This sky at least had some variation. I call it "Old Man and the Tree". Can you see the angry face looking at the tree? This is a color photo.
You can see a lot of great skies above.

That is more like one of my skies. I cam feel the swollen clouds grey sky about to burst.

Great shot! Lots of grey skies here too. I love your 'old man'!
ReplyDeleteI don't quite see the face.
ReplyDeleteYour skies are what I've seen for days. At the moment snow is falling yet again.
My sunset shot was coming home from my daughter's last Sunday.
Nice shot of gray skies and thick blanket of snow on the roof!
I don't see Santa's footprints on your roof. Did he walk along the other side, or was you a baaaad boy?
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot. We have the same here.
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend..

Looks the sky around here lately. Now that the holidays are over, I'm ready for Spring!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the angry cloud face is also tired of the all that gray.
ReplyDeleteA nice black and white photo though... LOL, the fluffy old man is probably admiring the steady tree!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is gray, isn't it!! I know what you mean, Tom, I'm looking out at lots of gray and all after that beautiful sunrise!! It's still a great gray shot! Love your duck header, too!

Excellent sky photo, but I LOVE the ducks in the banner shot.
ReplyDeleteNice capture of the gray sky!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Good thing you mentioned that the shot was in color, it was hard to tell the difference between it and a true b/w. Hope you get more blue skies soon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a snowstorm is about to happen. Great capture.
ReplyDeleteThat's a mean looking cloud! Love the color in your header with the ducks.

ReplyDeleteGray all over and thick sheet of snow on the rooftop. Sure it's cold in your place. You captured the essence of winter.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Old men are always grumpy. haha.
ReplyDeleteJust kidding.
That's what we call "law of attraction" ...your caption and description.
Sorry for being cheeky today!
Ooh! Lovely gloomy weather! We're also having a spell of melancholy here in Pretoria too. I do wish it'd snow here in Pretoria, but it never does. Lovely photo! :)
ReplyDeleteSeems you've had some dark and grey days overthere.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference wiht my white and blue SWF ...

The cloud does look angry!! Great photo~~~.
ReplyDeleteI love the grey sky. Still - here's hoping you see some sun soon.
ReplyDeleteBrrr...I'm cold just looking at the gray sky and snow-covered roof. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI confess I shivered a moment looking at your cold grey skies but I do see the face and the 'title' you've given this shot. Of course, my skies are warmer at Small Reflections ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Angry face? I see a duck...

I'm looking for color in the grey.

I wonder why that sky is so angry... probably because it is tired of being grey.
ReplyDeleteGray skies seem to be the norm for January, FG. Although yesterday was bright and sunny. Had to take my camera on a photo exhibition.
ReplyDeleteHere, the sun is trying to sneak through the clouds today.
Hope the sun shines for you soo!
Great shot. It has been a little grey here also but has finally cleared out and got very cold.
ReplyDeleteThat may be the ultimate in gray skies, FG.
ReplyDeletea perfect gray sky picture! Skies here have been gray and full of snow.
