Header Competition Season 2 # 25 "Make Do"

The theme this week is by Lanny and is "Make Do".  Mac, Gail's ManLanny, Dave, Sandy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.

"Make Do" why Lanny is making this contest this week wide open to interpretation.  I was thinking of using a photo of the Common Grackles "Making Do" with the feed that had fallen to the ground.

But then I saw this feeder near the deck.
Here was a House Sparrow with comfort on its mind. It was using the feeder as its house.
So I zoomed in to see it had "Made Do" with a warm spot and a bite to eat.

See what the others show from the above links.

  7. You learn to make do, you survive from the time of the dinosaurs until now. These birds are resourceful, for sure.

  12. Sparrows know a good deal when they see one. I put up an old nesting box from a budgie aviary, under the eaves of my cottage, and within an hour it was occupied.
