Camera Critter #21

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

I thought I saw a moth on my family room window so I ran and got my camera. I took one shot and moved in for a close-up. I had done this before with a small moth and thought it was neat. When I got closer I said,"Funny looking moth".
So I got in even closer.
It was a rainy evening but I went outside to get the other side. My red light from the camera bothered the little frog and he jumped on the window seal.
I decided to use my flash and show you the little green frog. I have never seen him again so I feel I seized a camera moment.
He is a cute little guy in his best colors.

  1. What a lucky catch. I think they are cute also. I have a friend who is terrified of them. I don't know why, though. They don't bite or sting. The worst they will do is pee on you.

  13. It's a grey tree frog! (They can be different colours and can also change colours but not as fast as chameleons.) I recognize them from the ones we have here. They are quite amusing to watch and do they ever catch a lot of bugs! Nice photo!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  38. He is a cute little guy!
In our old home we used to have one that would hang out on our front door every evening during the summer. He lived in a barrel with my geraniums.

BTW: you weren't the only one who thought the boat was a building. But you are the only one who confessed :)

  47. Hey Fish

The frog was looking to confusion.

With so much room for the usual, and was just stand in the window glass.

    This was looking for danger.

Lucky that you're a good guy.
