I haven't done a 'What Is It' for a while so I give you two related objects that were near enough together to catch in one shot. I cropped them out and ask you to guess what it is.

I hope this one may give you a clue.

I will post the answer tomorrow.
Some sort of insect?
ReplyDeleteis it a wing of a bug?
ReplyDelete1 grasshopper butt, sorry couldn't resist.
ReplyDelete2. moth or butterfuly wing
you didn't say anything about the prize for the winner :)
ReplyDeleteYeh, I think it's definitely to do with an insect on a yellow flower. Can't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteA grashopper and a moth?
ReplyDeleteGood grief, FG! It's awfully early for riddles...whatever it is, it's on a yellow flower. Right?
ReplyDeleteI'm just going to wait for the answer.
ReplyDeleteI guess Jimmy Cricket. Late fall he starts bouncing around the yard.
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant to say late summer Jimmy Cricket starts bouncing around the yard. Moral of this comment: ALWAYS PREVIEW YOUR COMMENT!
ReplyDeleteA piece of cricket and then a part of a butterfly on a yellow flower (maybe a rudbeckia or daisy)?
ReplyDeleteFirst one, a leaf on the flower, second one, maybe a moth
ReplyDeleteA grasshopper in the first picture and the wing of a butterfly in the last. I think :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't got a clue. I'm not even going to tell you what I saw at first glance. I'm one who sees stranges creatures out of leaves until I get up close, and trees look like monsters in the fog. I'll save my guess and wait for the answer. :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing a bug or a moth.
ReplyDelete#1 Candy-striped leafhopper
ReplyDelete#2 Moth.
Bottom one looks like a moths wings
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing a grasshopper at the top and a bumblebee at the bottom, at least that's what they seem to me
ReplyDeleteNo clue for the first - second one looks like the hindwing of a Checkered Skipper.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Klaus
