Sky Watch Friday # 51

Sky Watch Friday is doing really well. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post.

Sit with me at the dock as I watch the sky explode on Tappan Lake. I was on the dock at 5:15 to see the sky light up. The day broke cloudy and dark in the East.
A half hour later it started to change.
The sky was showing off with some colorful clouds.
The Sun is still behind the hills. This part of Ohio is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
The sky continued to brighten as the sun tried to peek over the trees.
There it is as it starts it beautiful climb.
It is now over the top of the trees and the orb is reflecting on the water.

Fibonacci poem (1-1-2-3-5-8) of the sunrise that stirred a feeling with-in.
Observing
nature
beauty abounds
darkness to light
from sun down to earth
brightness comes to us for another lovely day.

  16. Wonderful series. Funny how at 5:15 it is still fairly dark at your house and here in the Seattle area the sun is much higher up in the sky at that time.

  39. When I tilted my head to the right to compensate for the angle at which my computer is sitting on my lap, I saw a sideways keyhole shape formed by the clouds and the water. And I thought, through that view is the secret of heaven. And in it.

I have not been able to make a dawn outing for a while due to not sleeping well... I do miss that time of day.. the peace and quiet is so relaxing and puts me in a great mood.

I have been having trouble opening you blog... I am sure the problem is mine... it is happening on yours and our friend Carletta blogs... you both have a play list. I think the bother is how IE is dealing wih it.. I need to tweak some setting or another.

Happy Independence Day to you and your family... I hope you all have a great day and party away to the wee small hours... Keep well Tom
