Where Is Spring?

Punxsutawney Phil predicted 6 more weeks of Winter. This first week has really been something. My truck is covered again with snow this Winter.
The driveway is shoveled but more snow is coming today.
I ordered a volleyball set for use next Spring in the back yard from the internet at http://www.csnstores.com/ . It will come to a snow covered mailbox.
At least it doesn't look like my neighbors mailbox.
The store also sells mailboxes

Just to show with the snow comes some beauty a tree with red berries from across the street..
Where is Spring? At least another five weeks away.

My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 18

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

My World was hit by a snow storm with the snow reaching 18" to 36" in drifts.

The Sun has been out since but we are cold as shown by the ice on the treetops.
The world is really wintry right now.

The deer are mighty hungry and have dug down to the buried corn feed. You wonder how I know it's deer, look below.

Here are a couple in the yard right after the storm the next day.
Go and visit a lot of great worlds above.

Today's Flower # 78 - Visitors

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.

Today is a mixture of flowers and visitors to the blooms. Here is a Bumblebee and a beetle on the flower.
The little spider wanted to get in on a visit.

Here we have a Honeybee gathering some nectar.
The final visitor turned out to be a leaf, how did it jump up here?

There are a lot of great flowers at the above site.

Camera Critters #96 - bird feeders

Camera Critters by Misty Dawn, go here to see who's participating.

A bird feeder can be an important help when photographing birds. The Cardinal is a neat bird that comes to my feeder. The male has such great colors in the Winter. There is a bird flying out of focus behind this one.
The Grackles do also come and put on a show, they are a very noisy bird.
The Morning Dove and the Gray squirrel also feed.
The Whitetail Deer also enjoy a bite.
The Black Squirrel eats the corn and the bird seed.

I do hope you had fun with the critters at my bird feeders.

Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 30

Sky Watch Friday this is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link a 2:30 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

The other day while down near the new bridge I saw the sun coming through the haze. I could see the top of the grain silos so I took a photo.
I went down the road and took another photo of the silos from below. It is amazing that this same sky showed so different from the angle of the shot.
Check out all the neat skies at the main site.
