Potpourri and Award

I was going fishing last weekend and the same balloon I saw a while back took off over my head. It was rising as it crossed the road.
I took a few shots before I headed to the lake to launch my boat.
The lake was ablaze with colors.
There were some areas that weren't as far along but just as beautiful.
This back bay was very special because I was pursuing a Great Blue Heron.
The Sun gave a nice reflective shot to the lake in the boat bay.

The Lady Di Award comes from Lisa at Raccoon Lover blog. Lisa is a friend I visit and has some great photos of a Civil War re-enactment.

I would like to pass it on to some other neat sites:

Shelly -Birding in Michigan

Becky- With her great stories

Darla - Florida photos

Lacy - Farm life

Carolyn - NC Mountains

Luke - Great photos

Luiz - Neat photos and Today's Flowers Meme

Nice balloon shots; it was really close! But I truly love the autumn colors! I can't believe the difference in color day to day in Missouri. It's easy to forget when not living in a place with colorful trees. Wonderful post!

I'm not sure which I like the best the fall foilage or the balloon. Great shots of them both and the reflections on the water.
Thank you for the award, it really means alot coming from you!

It's good to see the beautiful autumn colors. My favorite time of year.

A very good sky watch post today, also.

Fishing Guy, after we meet up with the Russians and finishing hosting an Octoberfest party Sunday afternoon I'm going to gather up all those little white plastic things and send them back to you. So what I'm trying to say is this: we need your mailing address.
