Today's Flowers # 83

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.

It won't be long until we see the powers of the flower to last through the northern Winters. The beds will be uncovered and we will see the results. These are my pink roses near the house. Will they bloom again?
I await the blooms of summer.
You can see a lot of great flowers above.

Camera Critters # 100 - Canada Geese

The Canada Goose winter over in Ohio. They like some open water to enjoy. I saw these three near the horse farm.
I was able to get a fair reflection photo of the one in the stream.
Go to the main site to see a lot of other great critters.

Sky Watch Season # 4 Episode # 34

Sky Watch Friday This is the place. Please check out the site and link in if you wish to participate. There were a lot of people with beautiful Sky photos last week. You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link at 3:00 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

We got another littler reprieve from the gray skies and a blue cloudy day appeared.
We had the start of a neat sunset.
It progressed quite nicely and put on quite the show.
The next day dawned beautifully and blue skies again prevailed. Could we have turned the bend to a start to a warming trend. The deer were feeding under the morning Sun on my snowy yard. You can see the paths they make as they feed. I think there are about 20 deer in the area.
You can see a lot of great skies if you visit SWF above.

Header Competition # 21 - Yellow

The header theme this week by Tom W and is "Yellow". Mac,TomDarlaMarthaGail's Man and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. Mac is off this week but has a neat Twangy yellow header posted.

If you look around you will see yellow everywhere in your travels. So I headed out with the camera and crossed the railroad tracks.
I saw the house with a yellow door and valance with the yellow pine picket fence.
I then saw the yellow jeep in front of a yellow house.
The male Mallards really had a yellow beak which I liked.
The construction equipment at the bridge, an Excavator by Caterpillar, certainly filled the bill.
But I decided on the yellow Caterpillar Crane getting ready to make a lift as my header.

My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 21

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

We just finished the Winter Olympics Games and I'm proud of the USA for all its accomplishments. The USA Flag was raised high many times and we won a record number of medals. This is one of the flags on the Main Street bridge.

Going along with the sports theme here is the entrance to the MAC Center at Kent State University. Basketball, gymnastics and wrestling are contended here. Kent is part of the Mid American Conference.
They used the theme of Dream on one side with a fan,
and the theme of Inspire on the other side with a cheerleader.
We should all Dream and Inspire others.

Today's Flowers # 82

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.

I was at the grocery store and picked a bouquet for my wife. The snow outside needs balanced with some color inside.
The yellow daises were quite nice.
The Peruvian Lillie's really add to the beauty of the arrangement.
I thought this view was neat.
I do like reflections and this was pretty cool with the flowers and vase reflecting on the table.
You can see a lot of great flowers above.
