My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 27

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

Brixen, Italy - located in the foothills of the Alps. This is the second place the band performed as they crossed the Alps.
There was a church from the 1400's on the square.
The Shaker Band performed in front of the church from the 1700's.

A quick look inside, check out the ceiling.

My son the band's director giving the rules for the rest of the day after the performance.

I do hope you enjoyed the northern part of Italy.

Today's Flowers # 88

My friend Luiz from Brazil does the Today's Flowers Meme, check it out. Come and join with your flower photos. Sunday at 2 GMT is the post time.

Here are some more flowers I saw on my Europe trip. We were gathering to tour Mirabell Palace Garden in Salzburg, Austria. This little flowering tree begged for a photo. The wife and our new friends Mary and Dave are just behind the tree. The palace is right behind.

The hanging blooms were just beautiful on the tree.
This is the garden where part of "The Sound of Music" was filmed.
The gardens were not in full bloom but you can see some of the beauty to come.
I couldn't get Mrs. Fishing Guy to twirl but she did pose at the fountain where the childrens and Jule Andrews danced.
Visit a lot of neat sites to see above.

Venice Canal on Arrival.

This is my way of moving past Venice, Italy with a look at my first views along the Grand Canal heading for Lido, Italy.

The light was perfect and all my photos were amazing to me. This was after being up for 32 hours with a cat nap.

You can link in from my side bar or at the start of this post. You can link at 3:00 PM EDT on Thursdays. SWF is run by Klaus, Wren, Sandy, Sylvia and myself.

I thought I would show some more shots as we leave the Venice Grand Canal headed for Lido, Italy. Here is a ferry that we rode in to Lido.
We ended with a golden sunset. It made the photography so easy.
You can see the city of Venice skyline at the bottom of the screen.

You can see a lot of great sky photos above.

Header Competition # 26 - Sports

The header theme this week by Tom and is "Sports". Mac,TomDarlaMarthaGail's Man and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week.

My sport is fishing and Tom was kind after all my travels to make it an easy post. I showed this Large Mouth Bass before but this is a second photo. Note the line wrapped up in hook on the plug.
Mr. Wiskers was quite the fighter. A 2009 Fish Ohio Channel Catfish.

This was a fish that bit off more then it could chew. Mr. Crappie tried to swallow this Bluegill whole in one bite. To think my wifes says I eat too fast.

This was my 2009 Fish Ohio Walleye from Lake Hodgson.

The beauty of the lake can be seen in the early morning. I enjoy the sport of fishing and also the beauty of nature.

My final choice was trolling across Lake Hodgson in the morning light.

My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 26

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive.

These are some photos of my Europe trip. We landed in Milan and took a bus to Verona. You must visit Juliet's balcony while there. Italy is amazing.
A trip is not complete without seeing a castle and its bridge. This is made more special with the fly fisherman.
We then headed for Venice and what a ferry trip to Lido as the Sun was setting.

It was night when we settled at Lido and this marvelous structure was lit.
A trip to Venice must include seeing the Rialto Bridge and the gondolas.
There is so much to see I will have to share more later.
