Header Compition #51 - Water Reflections of Inanimate Objects

The header theme this week by myself is "Water Reflections of Inanimate Objects". Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.

Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.

The island of Lido, Italy brings me a morning reflection of one of the Lido canals.
The pump house at Lake Hodgson was pretty neat.
I really like this rock from the shore at Lake Hodgson.
It has a lot of character.
The final capture for the header comes again from Lido, Italy and a neat boat in the canal.

You can see my friends from the links above.

My World Tuesday Season # 2 Episode # 51

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Click to visit other sites.

Last year I bought Yellow Knock-Out Roses and here is the life cycle of the blossoms. You can see all the blooms the plant produces.
They first start out with a yellow bud with an orange tinge.
They then open up to a bright yellow bloom.
They then open up further and still have color.
The final stage is to turn white and loose their leaves.
I think it is a neat cycle of life.

Header Competition #50 - All the Worlds a Stage

The header theme this week by (Gailsman the actor) and is "All the Worlds a Stage". He is in a play at this time and the theme is right up his alley. Mac, Gail's Man, Lanny, Dave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.

Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.

I have not been to a play in quite a while so I will borrow from the immortal William Shakespeare's play "As You Like It" where it says "All the worlds a stage". I saw this stage near the shore at the lake today. You can only imagine the stories told here.
Mister Blue Jay trying to decide which peanut to chose, it is quite the show on the stage.
A Red Bellied Woodpecker was happy to stop and converse.
A mating pair of Dark Eyed Junco were telling me quite a story and were very thankful for the spill of the bird seed.
The one I finally chose was a Morning Dove that was acting on the stage this past week.

This is my posting for the My World Meme. It is hosted by Klaus, Sandy, Wren,  Sylvia and myself. Won't you join in, I want to see where you live and thrive. Click to visit other sites.

I had visitors in the back yard.
They were unusual that two fawns were at such different stages of development.
The bird feeder brought them into the yard.
They put on a great show.
See what other have to show from their world above.

Header Competition # 49 "Macro"

The header theme this week by Mac and is "Macro- close-up". You might know Mac would finally say MACro. MacGail's Man,  LannyDave and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and start the voting after that.

Darla, Martha and Tom W are on a break. Come back as soon as you are able my friends.

Macro is one of my favorite settings on my camera and this is a great time of the year with the Sedum in bloom. It attracts the butterflies and bees. Here are a few of my favorite shots this week. I'm told this is a Monarch.
This is a Great Spangled Fritillary.
Check out this bumblebee, the Sedum makes it wings look red.
This is a little Honeybee.
The header is my favorite because the black butterflies are so neat. This is a Red Admiral. Check out the antennae.
