The theme this week is "Spring?" by Lew. Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. Kathy is off this week.
I must say Spring arrived on the 20th and the Hyacinth said what is happening.
The crocus bed went to sleep under a bed of snow.
The one lone daffodill drooped to the ground.
My leafless Ohio Buckeye tree got a coasting of white.
So did my car. Where is Spring, just around the bend.
See what the others show this week.

"Leafless Trees"
The theme this week is "Leafless Trees" by Christine. Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. Kathy is off this week.
All we have are leafless trees except for the evergreen trees. This is a Japanese Weeping Cherry Tree in front of a friends house. I tower over this tree.
Here is my leafless Ohio Buckeye Tree.
This is a large White Poplar in the neighborhood. You can see it behind my Ohio Buckeye Tree.
This is a Dogwood Tree in the neighborhood. It is showing some signs of blooming.
These are the Maple Trees that line our street and make a canopy to drive through.a

I am way late this week. Mac was travelling and it skipped my mind. I decided to use this little clock from our bathroom. It is very small.
This is one of my themed clocks.
I have several on this theme.
What I see at night when I wake up. It will reset to daylight savings time tonight.

"Sepia"
The theme this week is "Sepia" a general theme. Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I decided to use some photos in sepia from Red Rock Canyon in Nevada. I often see something in the cloud. Now I see something in the rocks. Do you see the face on the right?
Here is a sheep on top of the rocks.
Do you see Homer Simpson?
I enjoyed this bush at the base of the rocks.
Here is a view in color of the red rocks in the canyon.

"Looking Up"
The theme this week is "Birds" by Kathy. Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I looked up and what did I see but the tops of Christmas trees that my neighbor planted to decorate the back of his yard. They are really tall now. Check out all the pine cones, the squirrels love the pine seeds.
The Sun trying to shine over the trees on a cloudy day.
We did have some clear nights and the Moon did shine.
Looking up I saw the Moon and in the lower left a planet Jupiter.
This was our Moon on many a night looking up through the hazy sky.
Our yard today after a warming span and rain storms last night. We have a snow storm heading our way. Where did all that snow go? Can you see the lake?

"Birds"
The theme this week is "Birds" by Kathy. Mac, Kathy, Lew, Christine and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I really enjoy getting photos of birds. Here are a few I captured through the years. This is a Carolina Wren that came to the feeder.
This is a Rose Breasted Grosbeak on the top of the feeder.
Here are some Ruby Throated Hummingbirds getting a drink.
This was a flock of Wild Turkeys I saw.
Here is a Peacock showing off for the Peahens. They really make some load calls.
