Timing was really good on this subject. I had to go get a blood test and I had a doctors visit with my heart doctor. I was able to get photos from both to go with the post. Here is a sign at the blood testing facility where the nurses work.

I then went to my primary doctors to schedule a visit. His nurse Amanda allowed me to get a photo.

Later in the day I went to see Doctor Sliek who put the stint in my heart. His office is located at Robinson Memorial Hospital.

His nurse Jim was willing to pose for a photo.

I chose Doctor Sliek as my header. He did a terrific job on the heart operation.

I  was late because I made a late trip to the lake.


 Mac has come up with a great post subject for his country. It is not so great for my area. We have buses and that is about it. Very few taxis and only freight trains. So I got some school bus shots.

 I was working outside today putting in mulch around the house so my post is a little late today. I had a few thoughts of what to show. What is that in the sky? I thought this was an interesting shot of a flying wing.

I was out fishing when I saw this neat sight. What is This?

I went in a little closer to see what it was. There were two on the top of the log.

One of them left so it was a Painted turtle sunbathing on a log.

 Mac has some computer problems so is off this week. We had a small group last week so we skipped the week. This week is Competition so I thought I would show how the grandsons make a Competition out of all their gatherings. Here are some photos of their fun at the pool. They had a ball on the water with the floats and battles.

 Mac really did it this week. First is what is my hobby? Fishing/photography Naturally I chose fishing. The photography is included in my photos. The weather has broken early and the water is at 45 F. Here are some results this week. Here are two nice Black Crappie.

But I was supposed to show The Word in my photos so from my family room is a gift from my daughter.

Here is another decoration my wife bought which I used for the header. I do tell a lot of fish stories in this room.

 Oh my, what a cool topic. I had to think about this one. I've talked about how the snow has come and gone this year so I skipped that one. I decided on my squirrel feeder and the ears of corn.

Header Competition Season 3 # 20 - "Leap "

The theme this week by Dave which  is "Leap". Mac, Gail's Man, Dave,Kathy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and voting begins after that. Dave chose Leap for this Leap Day.

 I  thought of a picnic last year when the grandsons were having a leaping contest into the pool.  I was a ways away in the shade but got some interesting shots. Matt did most of the leaps.

Header Competition Season 3 # 19 - "Blue "

The theme this week by me  is "Blue". Mac, Gail's Man, Dave,Kathy and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT and voting begins after that. I thought this theme could go one of two ways. The color "Blue" or how we are feeling in this winter season.

 I decided to go with the color Blue but what to show. I thought at first to get a blue house. I found several and liked this one best.

This one had some neat windows.

This one had a blue garage along side.

I stopped at Brady Lake to get this blue dock on a blue lake and the blue sky.

One of the fawn triplets in a snow storm that looked very blue.

The neighbors are moving so I got this Sea Turtle on the U-Haul truck.

What I chose was the blue sailboat sitting on its winter trailer with the red, white and blue flying behind.
