The theme this week by Kathy is "Mom". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that. You can see what others show on my side bar.
I thought I would concentrate on the one of the Mom's I saw at the lake this week. The Canada Geese co-operate in taking gosling during this time of the year. This Mom was keeping an eye on me.
I saw a family on the shore and tried to get a few shots of the family.
The Mom moved them away from me but my zoom kept them close.
The Mom looked very attentive but the goslings were having a rile.
They enjoyed a little time getting to know each other. "He started it Mom".
Have a great week with the coming of spring.
The theme this week by Lew is "Spring Colors". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I will probably have a different take on this weeks theme. Spring colors to me has to do with the colors I see on the lake. My mind is on fishing and capturing nature on the lakes I fish. My header is from yesterday and the colors of the 9 5/8" Red Ear Bluegill. It qualifies as a Fish Ohio Awards fish over 9" long. Check out the Spring Colors on this catch.
Spring does bring some great bites. Here is a Walleye in it's Spring Colors.
My friend caught a 13 1/2" White Crappie. It is also a Fish Ohio Award fish over 13".
Surprises abound even in black and white. Here is a bald eagle flying over the lake as the Spring Colors come to the trees..
How about these little Canada Geese gosling. They are neat in their Spring Color.
How about a Great Blue Heron walking the shore,
and this one flying past in it's Spring Colors.

The theme this week by Mac is "Timetable". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I don't have a lot of opportunities to see timetables. There is one place I do see it and that is at the Kent Stage. I thought I would show the timetable for upcoming shows at the Kent Stage. This used to be a double cinema and ran second run show fairly cheaply. It was converted to a live stage show with a lot of musical acts. These are photos of the current shows.
It is located at the top of the hill on East Main Street across from Acorn Alley.
Mucis is the main item on this timetable.
I did a few drive by shootings of the timetable.

The theme this week by Craver is "Rain". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I'm depressed, I woke up a constant morning rain. It has continued all day. It's not a hard rain with dark clouds. It is just constantly falling and keeping everything wet. It is going into the 30's tonight. Will this Spring season really start, PLEASE? I decided to use this wet deck photo through the deck door to show the rain in my header.
The rain just keeps coming down and dripping off the chair.
The rain has made puddles on the deck.
Here are some drops from the rain on the flower leaves.
This shows two small Ohio Buckeye trees enjoying the rain. They came from the squirrels burying the buckeyes.

The theme this week by Kathy is "Looking Up". Mac, Kathy, Craver, Lew and I have a little contest to show a new theme header each week. We now post anytime before 4 PM EDT on Wednesdays and voting begins after that.
I choose another photo from my Turkey trip. I thought it was strange to see an Egyptian obelisk while walking a Roman hippodrome near the Blue Mosque. I have never been to Egypt so this was neat to see.
This obelisk was taken from Egypt by the Romans and was on the center line of the hippodrome.
This shows the building of the foundation of the obilisk.
It was quite decorative.
There were two large obelisk and a smaller one.

I choose this photo from my Turkey trip. I was looking up inside the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. The cables held a large oil powered chandelier which was converted to electric.
The Blue Mosque is a beautiful structure with the four minarets.
It is a working mosque and you have to cover your shoes to enter.
This is looking up at the Egyptian obelisques brought by the Romans for chariot races. This is next to the mosque.
I was at Mike's Place in Kent, Ohio for breakfast and had to take some looking up photos.
This is usually found looking up at a barn.
Looking up at a combo of truck grill, little red wagon and stop light.
Elvis and R2D2 are found by looking up. What a surprising place to look up.
